Our Vitamin and Supplement Shop: A Healthy Destination

At Nature's Kitchen, you will find an abundant assortment of high-quality vitamins and supplements, protein powders, CBD (hemp) products, essential oils, and natural beauty products. Our vitamin shop stands as a cornerstone of health and wellness in Yreka, offering alternatives to conventional products.

Meet Sonia, our supplement shop manager, who brings expertise and personalized service to every interaction. "I always strive to provide excellent service to all of my customers," says Sonia. "If the product a customer is looking for is not available in our store, I will gladly check to see if it can be special ordered, and if not, will search online for a website where the shopper can purchase it himself."

Beyond supplements, our store features a vast selection of bulk medicinal herbs and culinary spices, which can be scooped into plastic bags, or you're welcome to bring your own containers to be filled. There is a substantial savings over grocery store prices by refilling your spice jars here—another way we help our community make healthier, more sustainable choices.

We are and have been the only place in town that sells vitamins and supplements, and also a full bulk spice assortment. Nature's Kitchen was built on giving back to the community with healthier options. For over 25 years we sold lunch and brunch here and recently a new health inspector has asked us to upgrade which we weren't in a position to do the extensive upgrades. For multiple reasons. So, we downgraded the kitchen to a bakery.

Our store also has a small section where we stock gluten free cookies and crackers, as well as organic dried goods such as oats, corn flour, flax and chia seeds. These wholesome options complement our coffee and baked goods, allowing you to enjoy Nature's Kitchen products at home.

We are still here, we still care, and we are still part of the community and our Vitamin store is still here. We have all kinds of flours and baking materials to purchase and are still the last alternative food stores in the area.

In our opinion, the three best vitamins to take are Omega-3 fish oil, Vitamin D, and Magnesium. Omega-3 supports brain function and reduces inflammation, Vitamin D strengthens bones and boosts immunity, and Magnesium aids muscle and nerve health while reducing stress.

Supplements can help ensure you're getting enough of these nutrients, but always consult with a professional before changing your regimen.

  • What is the on supplement everyone should take?

In our opinion Vitamin D is a very good option overall. It helps with mineral absorption and most people are deficient in Vitamin D especially in Siskiyou County due to the winter months being sun deprived.
